This year's best of the best for me was served at Bramblewood Bites: Grilled Cider-brined Pork Tenderloin with Fennel Apple Slaw and Apple Cider Gastrique, Grilled Bison with Butternut Squash Puree, Roasted Mushrooms and Huckleberry Gastrique & Cast Iron-roasted Brussel Sprouts and Root Vegetables, Dried Cranberries, Candied Pecans and Maple Burbon Glaze.
The San Angel Inn serves Sopa Azteca Tortilla Soup with Fried Corn Tortilla Strips, Avocado, Cheese, and Pasilla Pepper as a starter. They offer Carne Asada, a
New York strip with Chipotle Butter, with a Tamale de Rajas topped with Red and Green Salsas and a Corn Rice Medley on the side.
Sweet corn ice cream with popcorn and chile powder was a sweet offering for dessert.
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe offers a Chicken Rice Bowl with Stewed Pinto Beans, Cilantro-Lime Rice, Cowboy Caviar, Queso Fresco, and Pico de Gallo that was generous and tasty. For desert they offer a creamy and unique Sweet Corn Mouse with White Chocolate and Raspberry Powder.
BBQ Brisket Melt,Shredded Smoked Brisket, Pickles, and Tangy Barbecue Sauce between Melted Cheddar and Monterey Jack on Grilled Allergy-Friendly Bread, with a Side of Potato Barels was delicious Grab-and-Go meal.
Chicken Fried rice and Grilled Chicken with Honey Sesame Sauce over Rice are two gluten -free options served at the quick service Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafe.
Barbequed Ribs with Mashed Potatoes (without the gravy) and Coleslaw are served here. Be sure to ask for the gluten-friendly version of the cornbread. If you are staying at the campgrounds, you can take the food back to dine on your private deck or at the dining table in your cabin.
